CAMBRIDGE UNIVERSITY ALL STAFF EVENT
We are thrilled to announce that for the third year in a row, Cambridge Dining Co. have won the contract to project manage the Cambridge University All Staff Event at the beautiful Botanic Gardens in July!
With over 5,000 University Staff Members in attendance and directed by the Vice Chancellor, Cambridge Dining Co. will yet again manage and deliver the entire private event in the most unique of settings. This includes management of all event logistics, power requirement, suppliers, entertainment, structures, styling and catering.
As a preferred supplier to the University of Cambridge, we work closely with the Botanic Gardens to ensure the event is delivered as sensitively and sustainably as possible.
All food is sourced from local English suppliers and we work with the University Waste Management team to recycle all packaging and compost food waste.
Delivering large scale events with local companies using all of our own staff is what makes the Cambridge Dining Co. so unique.
We are proud to have our own dedicated team of event managers, chefs, waiting staff and logistics personnel who will set, strike, deliver and de-rig the entire event.

VENUE SHOWCASE - ELY BOATHOUSE
Following Cambridge’s victory against Oxford in the eventful Boat Race on Easter Saturday, we thought we’d take the opportunity to share one of our most unique and iconic partner venues.
Home to the men, women and lightweights of Cambridge University Boat Club, Ely Boathouse sits right on the banks of the River Ouse. It is the perfect setting for dinner, drinks, meetings or events.
Have a former rower take guests on a tour of the Boathouse or invite an Olympian to speak or stage a rowing event for something unforgettable.
Featuring a riverside balcony and flexible spaces, this is a truly unique building which provides the newest and most authentic Cambridge experience for your event. Please contact us for more information on hosting your exclusive function on the water this Summer.
SUSTAINABILITY
At the Cambridge Dining Co, we are continually looking into new ways to be more sustainable.
From planting trees to growing our own herbs, opting for eco-packaging and working with suppliers that share our ethos, we are passionate about encouraging our staff and clients to consider the environment when planning our events.
Our conscientious chefs support and source local, seasonal produce wherever possible to reduce our food’s air miles. This elevates the flavour of our dishes and minimalises our impact on the environment.
We are careful to ensure minimal food wastage in our production processes and at our events which comes with many years of catering experience.
We have also just launched our sustainable canapés. Created from excess food which would have gone to waste, we can help reduce our food wastage whilst still using fresh, natural ingredients to make delicious canapés.
We are proud to be an events company focused on delivering events with the least amount of impact to our environment 🌱
